Brand Champions Founder and CEO Fiona Wylie has been named one of ADWEEK’s 2026 Agents of Change, a new award presented by Empower, the industry platform created by Propeller Group and WACL (Women in Advertising & Communications Leadership).
The award celebrates the people reshaping marketing, media, advertising and tech through meaningful action. It recognises leaders who combine commercial excellence with a commitment to building a more inclusive, responsible and forward-thinking industry.
ADWEEK highlighted how Fi founded Brand Champions as a remote-first agency, with careers designed around parents, caregivers and professionals returning after a career break. That commitment shows up in the way the agency runs, from training budgets for every employee and regular recognition to a fully funded annual offsite.
The results speak for themselves. Brand Champions hit its £3m stretch revenue target for 2026 four months ahead of year-end, with client retention at 87%. The team has grown from 16 to more than 40 people this year alone.
ADWEEK also pointed to the agency’s Service on Standby (SoS) service, which swaps conventional retainers for flexible strategic and creative support, and which has been adopted by clients including Costa Coffee and PizzaExpress.
Being recognised in the award’s inaugural year is a proud moment for Fi and for everyone at Brand Champions. It reflects the belief she built the agency on: great marketing talent shouldn’t be limited by a nine-to-five in an office, and flexibility and commercial success can go hand in hand.
Congratulations, Fi. This is so deserved.
